The comic for Wednesday, December 7: "The Festival of Lights" continues.
Who knew Paige could kick such butt?
Okay, it was pointed out to me that the second strip (panels 3 & 4) might be a bit confusing, so here's an explanation. When the characters of the comic play a video game, they appear on screen as the video game characters (but with their own faces/hair/etc). So in panel 3, we have Ranger and Seth dressed up as Resident Evil characters. In panel 4, Paige has taken Ranger's controller, so the character on the screen changes to look like her. Does that make sense?
Wouldn't it be cool if video games really worked like this? You pop Resident Evil 4 into your Gamecube, pick up the controller, and suddenly, Leon looks like you? Okay, okay, I know, Leon is hot enough already, and we'd all rather look at him. Hmmmm. Maybe it would be cooler if I could pick up the controller, and I'd suddenly look like Leon?
So I ask again: Who knew Paige could kick such butt? And is anyone else as turned on by this fact as Seth?
^o^ Looking like Leon would be great....but as for the game characters looking like you...would it be so great to see yourself being decapitated, disembowled, etc in the resident evil games? That could keep you up for weeks. ^^

Are you kidding? Seeing those things happen to Leon kept me awake for weeks! The game came out in January, and every time someone in the neighborhood started up a snowblower (while I was asleep, of course), I about had a heart attack. Okay, most snowblowers don't sound too much like a chainsaw, but in my sleep-adled mind, Chainsaw-Maniac was after me. Those scenes are just soooo gruesome! And of course, Capcom had to put out a poster showing Chainsaw-Maniac in mid-decapitation of Leon (which Brady Games kindly put in the back of their Official Strategy Guide, just to give me more nightmares).
Okay, I'm a wimp, I admit it.

*ignores everything you said except for one jarring thing* You used a strategy guide? *gasp!* I've lost all respect for you! XD. Well...just teasing. Heh. You know they sell a controller for the PS2 that's the chainsaw those masked guys used? It even runs when yer playing. ^^ And I can't beleive the game makers hate Leon enough to make a poster out of him getting killed. ;_; Poor Leon.

Pish posh. I'm sure Wulf isn't suggesting anything like that. Seth is certainly not the kind of guy who would allow himself to be thrown around by a woman.

There can be only one!
He'd put up a good struggle first.
Poor Leon. The fans seem to love him, but the game makers keep inventing new ways to kill him off.
